Credit Stamina ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Credit Stamina mobile application and related services.

Please read this policy carefully. By using Credit Stamina, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.

Credit Report Data: When you upload a credit report PDF from AnnualCreditReport.com, we extract and store the following structured data:

• Creditor names and account numbers (partial)
• Account types and statuses
• Balances, credit limits, and payment history summaries
• Account open dates and last payment dates
• Bureau reporting information

Payment Information: Payment card details are processed securely through Authorize.net. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the app including screens visited, features used, and actions taken.

2. AI Processing of Your Credit Report

Specifically:

• Your raw credit report PDF is never stored on our servers
• The text extracted from your PDF is sent to Anthropic's AI for analysis
• Only structured account data (creditor names, balances, statuses) is saved to your account
• Personal identifying information such as your Social Security Number, full account numbers, and personal addresses from the report are discarded and never stored
• Anthropic's use of this data is governed by their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy

By uploading your credit report, you consent to this AI processing of your report data.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide credit analysis and personalized action plans
• To generate AI-powered dispute letters on your behalf
• To track your credit score progress over time
• To send dispute letters via USPS through LetterStream
• To process payments for subscription and letter mailing services
• To send you notifications and reminders about your credit repair journey
• To improve and develop our services
• To comply with legal obligations

4. How We Protect Your Information

• All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL
• Data is stored in Supabase with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data
• API keys and credentials are stored as encrypted environment variables
• We never store raw credit report PDFs
• Payment processing is handled by Authorize.net which is PCI DSS compliant
• Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel only

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only with:

• Anthropic: For AI processing of credit report text (see Section 2)
• LetterStream: Your name and mailing address when sending dispute letters via USPS
• Authorize.net: Payment processing
• Resend: Email delivery for account notifications and invites
• Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the Privacy and Security section in the app or by emailing support@creditstamina.com.

When you delete your account we will permanently remove:

• Your profile and account information
• Your credit account data
• Your dispute letters and history
• Your score tracking history

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Opt out of marketing communications
• Withdraw consent for AI processing (by not uploading credit reports)

8. Children's Privacy

Credit Stamina is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

9. Third Party Services

Our app links to AnnualCreditReport.com for obtaining free credit reports. That site is governed by its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third party websites or services.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the effective date. Your continued use of Credit Stamina after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA) Notice

Credit Stamina is a credit repair organization as defined under federal law. You have the right to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report directly with the credit bureaus at no charge. You have the right to cancel your contract with Credit Stamina within three business days without penalty. We cannot guarantee specific results or improvements to your credit score.
